MELAKA MONORAIL TO BEGIN OPERATION BY END APRIL 2017

Melaka Monorail will start operation again by end April 2017.

Some upgrading works were carried out to prevent failures.

This photo shows the Malacca Central Market from 1932 to 1985. It was demolished in 1985. If it was not demolished, it will be standing which can be reused as a tourist hub.

Vedro by the river is expected to be completed by mid year.

Melaka water taxis to be ready also by mid year which can transport passengers from Melaka Sentral to Vedro and Stadthuys as well.

Heard an entrepreneur is setting up an homestay 2 rooms apartments within Jalan Kee Ann for visitors to stay especially over the weekends.

MALACCA WATER TAXIS

Malacca will soon introduce her Malacca river taxis by mid year. 

They will ply from the Melaka River mouth to the Melaka Bus terminal. Travellers can board and disembark at 5 terminals.

By doing so, we can beat the weekend jams around Malacca. It will be another transport around Malacca minus the traffic jams. We hope the fares will be affordable so everyone can use it.

VEDROMALL NOW NEARING COMPLETION

The original Malacca Central market where Vedro on the River was built over

VEDROMALL is nearing completion. It is now in PAINTING stage while the air-conditioning systems have been installed.

Once completed, visitors can walk to the new mall, have coffee overlooking the Malacca river after shopping there.

It is expected to be completed by mid 2017.
